Clivia Miniata, commonly known as the Natal Lily or Bush Lily, is a showy, frost-tender house plant that makes a bold feature in the home. It bears stocky stems topped with large, rounded heads of colourful flowers, from late winter to spring. Clivia foliage is attractive year-round, with wide, dark green, strap shaped evergreen leaves that grow from a swollen, fleshy root. Flowerheads are made up of eight to 10 bell-shaped blooms, usually in shades of orange, but yellow- and red-flowered varieties are sometimes available. 

Light: Place the clivia in bright light but out of direct sunlight and avoid placing in hot centrally-heated rooms or close to heat sources such as a radiator or fire. In the summer months, it can be moved out into the garden if given a sheltered spot out of direct sunlight.

Water:  Adjusting watering to the season and giving the plant a 'rest' over winter is key to getting clivia to flower every year. In summer, water regularly but moderately, so the compost stays damp but not wet. Over winter, from November to March, 'rest' clivia by keeping in a cool place and watering sparingly.

Free Local Deliveries
We offer free local deliveries on all orders over £65 to the following West London postcodes W3, W4, W5, W6, W7, W10, W11, W12, W13 & TW8.  For orders under £65 to any of these postcodes a £5.95 delivery charge will be added at the check out. 

Nationwide Shipping
Online orders are processed and dispatched within seven business days. The standard delivery fee is £6.95 for orders below £65; free shipping for orders above £65. Our plants are shipped Monday to Wednesday. Orders received Thursday to Sunday will be shipped the following Monday to avoid live plant products sitting in warehouses over the weekend. Your order will be sent via DPD or Royal Mail using their next day service.

Click & Collect
All our products are available for Click and Collect from our Chiswick store at 21 Turnham Green Terrace, W4 1RG. We will notify you once your order is ready to collect from our store but we aim to have them ready 1 hour after receiving your order. If you would rather collect your purchase from our Northfields store please contact us before placing your order and we will see if this can be facilitated.
